One thing I didn’t realize before we arrived here is that Peru is the “slug bug” capital of the world. Cusco and the surrounding towns are literally crawling with 70’s-era Volkswagen Beetles.
For a while, we couldn’t walk down the streets of Cusco without me getting pummeled in the arms by all 3 girls.
I finally convinced the girls to change the game to “hug bug”.
It still got old after awhile…

Oh, they have them in so many colors! Makes me think of rainbows…and unicorns!
Yeah, I’d have green & purple arms if we were all playing the Slug Bug game. Makes me miss my old convertible bug from back in the HS days.
