It didn’t really bother me to sell both of our cars. They were just another possession to unload. However, it has been quite a lesson in giving up control because honestly, I hate not being the driver.
I haven’t been without a car in 20 years. Getting in your car and going wherever you want whenever you want becomes second nature. I don’t want to be driving around some of the places we have visited so far, but holy cow – taxis scare the crap out of me!
Flying around corners feeling the loss of contact with the road has me saying many prayers of relief thanks when we arrive at our destinations.
Apparently being a little crazy fearless is a requirement for cab drivers everywhere.

I can imagine how that affects you!
I hate taxi cabs too. And not just because of the aggressive driving. I know you smell what I’m sprayin’. Nasty.
