Puppy the World

Never mind the cultural heritage, historic sights, or natural resources – Hannah and Ray evaluate each country based on one criteria: puppies.

And by this standard, Tokyo was by far the most awesome place we visited. It seems like nearly all the dogs in Tokyo are of the small and cute variety; we saw many being carried or pushed in little strollers just like babies. I’m assuming this is to prevent the little creatures from being trampled in the crowds.

Like so many of the people in Tokyo, a large number of the puppies we saw here were very smartly dressed, too. One evening in Odaiba the kids & I ran across this shop:

It’s kind of like The Gap for dogs, I guess.

They even had a restaurant where your pooch can sit at the table and eat with you.

Yep, the kids were in puppy heaven.

I think puppies are a perfect way to evaluate our world. I’m just glad this was not another post about ‘exotic’ culinary excursions.
