Meet Plan Go: Get Help Planning Your World Travel Adventure!

by Danielle on May 31, 2010

Join us on September 14th as part of a nationwide conversation about career breaks, extended world travel, and living your dreams. Meet Plan Go is a free event happening in cities all over North America, and we are happy to be your hosts in Dallas!

“Wow, I wish I could do something like that!”

It’s the number one reaction when people hear our story. Most people would love to take a break from the rat race and travel the world or pursue their passions. But how do you cross that bridge from “I wish” to creating your own career break or world travel adventure? Would it help to talk with others who have already done it? Would it help to learn real steps you can take on the path to making your dreams a reality?

One of the toughest things about planning our adventure was the sense that we were alone in the process. We would have loved the opportunity to connect with people who had similar goals, and get first-hand advice & encouragement from those who had already pulled it off.

Meet Plan Go

So when our friends at Briefcase to Backpack told us they were creating just such an opportunity, we jumped at the chance to be part of it! (and by “jumped”, we mean “thought it was way too challenging and scary, but volunteered anyway” :) )

We’ve just started planning, and we need your help to make it awesome!

Would you like to participate as a speaker? as a sponsor? as an inquiring mind?

What questions would you like to have answered?

What obstacles do you need help overcoming in order to make your own career break or world travel adventure a reality?

Let us know in the comments, or by sending an email to marc[at]4suitcases[dot]com.

For the record – I LOVE this picture of your girls! Even though it’s a picture, it feels like it actually talks.

Thanks, Sherry! And thanks for letting us be part of Meet, Plan, Go! Easter Island was one of our favorite destinations – truly an incredible place.
