Only 3 Flights

by Danielle on October 23, 2008

Perhaps my level of impatience will end up doing me good. With 4,200 guests on the ship each week, the wait for an elevator can be longer than I’m willing to tolerate. Many times throughout the day I find myself saying, “It’s only 3 flights, let’s take the stairs.”

Only 3 flights 5 or 6 times a day ought to add up. Maybe by the end of the cruising part of our travels I’ll have buns of steel. :)

I know why the elevator takes so long: it’s those people who get on to go up ONE deck. Come on, these twelve steps aren’t part of any program!

And another thing… I wish people would figure out where they’re going before they get on & start pushing buttons. “Where’s the buffet? On 8 – no, 9. Oh, its on 11.”

Sigh. It’s only 3 flights. But I draw the line at 4.

Sounds like a great workout! I don’t blame you for not wanting to wait.
