I already posted a little bit about the wonderful trip I arranged for Danielle on her birthday. When you use miles to buy an international ticket, there are some tradeoffs:
Actually it went pretty well – much better than our 3-day ordeal to get to Cusco. All the flights were on time, and two of the planes had great personal entertainment systems, where you could select movies and TV shows whenever you wanted, or play video games.
The only downside were all the grueling layovers, including the one in the Santiago airport between 2 and 7am.
We arrived at Ezezia International Airport in Buenos Aires at 9:30 am, quickly collected all of our bags and breezed through customs and immigration. Unfortunately, our apartment would not be ready until almost 6pm. Yay! another long wait in an airport!
By the time we reached the apartment we were utterly exhausted, but happy to find it exactly as promised. This was going to be a great home for our stay in Buenos Aires!
We were eager to explore this exciting new city, but first we needed a good long sleep. Thank goodness our next several flights are direct!

LOL! We stayed in the exact same apartment! We bought the coffee mug in one of your pictures to replace one we broke in the apartment. I’m getting misty looking at the pictures of the apartment; we loved the neighborhood and being in BsAs.
Hope you are traveling well.
Best,
Craig James

The streets and the aprt. exterior looks like the best yet. I can;t find BA on the map i just viewed . looking foward to more pics.
Craig, that’s hilarious!
And thanks for that mug – Danielle always used it because all the others were too small.
It was definitely our favorite of all the places we’ve stayed on the trip so far. We miss it too!
